Marcus Hunter joined The Sterling Insurance Group full time in 2026, bringing more than 30 years of experience working directly with businesses in the metal fabrication industry.

Before joining the agency, Marcus spent his career supplying metal to fabricators and manufacturers. That experience gave him a firsthand understanding of the day-to-day challenges these businesses face - from equipment and employees to contracts, customers, supply chains, and the unexpected risks that can disrupt operations.

Over the years, Marcus also saw the difference a well-crafted insurance program can make when a business needs it most. That perspective led him to insurance and to a natural specialization: helping metal fabrication businesses protect what they have worked so hard to build.

At The Sterling Insurance Group, Marcus focuses on outside sales and developing insurance and risk management solutions specifically for the metal fabrication industry. His goal is to bring together his decades of industry knowledge with a strong understanding of commercial insurance so he can have meaningful conversations with business owners about their actual risks - not simply sell them a policy.

Marcus holds an MBA from The University of Dallas and has earned the Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation.

While he officially joined The Sterling Insurance Group full time in 2026, Marcus has been part of the agency's story for much longer. He has worked alongside his wife, Teresa Kitchens, supporting the development and growth of The Sterling Insurance Group since 2009.
